Privacy Policy
ISLE Bartend is a Florida-based mobile mixology, event hospitality and event staffing company. This policy explains, in plain terms, what this website collects, why, and how it is handled.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to islebartend.com and to the request and contact forms on it. ISLE Bartend (“ISLE,” “we,” “us”) is the business you are contacting and is responsible for the information you submit through this website.
2. Information we collect
We only collect what you choose to give us through the website:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Event information, such as event type, date and planning stage
- Venue or location information, such as the venue name or city
- Estimated guest count
- Services and experiences you select, such as mixology, staffing or a theme
- Answers to the on-site experience questions (the Toon quiz)
- Theme and style preferences
- Notes, messages or subject lines you write
- The page you were on when you submitted a request
- How you heard about ISLE, if you tell us
- Your acceptance of our Terms & Conditions and acknowledgement of this Privacy Policy, with the date, time and document versions you accepted
Your browser and our hosting provider also handle ordinary technical request data — such as IP address, browser type and timestamps — as part of delivering and securing the website. We do not use that technical data to build marketing profiles.
3. Cookies, local storage and analytics
This website stores a small amount of information in your browser’s local storage so your planning selections, quiz answers and partially filled form fields are not lost while you move around the site. That information stays in your browser until you clear it, and it is not advertising tracking.
We do not run third-party advertising trackers or advertising cookies on this website. If ISLE later adds a web analytics tool, this section will be updated to name it and to describe what it measures.
4. Why we collect it and how we use it
- To read, understand and respond to your request or message
- To prepare a menu direction, service plan, staffing plan, estimate or proposal
- To contact you about your inquiry, event or booking
- To provide and coordinate ISLE services before, during and after your event
- To keep a record of requests, references and accepted terms
- To operate, secure and improve the website
- To meet legal, tax and record-keeping obligations
Agreeing to our Terms and acknowledging this policy is not consent to promotional email or text marketing. If ISLE ever offers a newsletter or promotional messaging, it will ask separately and you can decline without affecting your request.
5. How submissions are stored
When you submit a request, it is saved to ISLE’s hosted database as the permanent record, and a notification is emailed to Mariel so a real person sees it. You also receive a confirmation email with a reference code. Submitted records are accessible only to ISLE and to the limited technical providers described below.
6. Service providers who may process data
We share information only with providers that help us operate the website and respond to you, and only as needed for that purpose:
- Website hosting and content delivery providers
- Database and backend platform providers, which store submitted requests
- Transactional email providers, which deliver notification and confirmation emails
- Ordinary business tools such as ISLE’s email accounts and phone service
- OPEN ΛXIS, the website design and development provider that builds and maintains this website, acting as a technology service provider on ISLE’s behalf
OPEN ΛXIS does not own or operate ISLE Bartend, is not the provider of ISLE’s event services, and does not use ISLE customer information for its own independent marketing. To the extent it can access website data, it does so only to build, maintain and support the website.
7. Selling and targeted advertising
ISLE Bartend does not sell your personal information, and does not use it for targeted advertising or profiling. We do not share it with data brokers.
8. Data security
Website traffic is encrypted in transit, submitted records are stored on managed, access-controlled platforms, and access is limited to those who need it to respond to you. No website or storage system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, so we do not claim absolute security.
9. Retention
We keep inquiry records as long as reasonably needed for the purpose they were collected — responding to you, servicing an event, keeping business, tax and consent records, and resolving any dispute — and then delete or archive them. Consent records are retained with the version and date of the documents accepted.
10. Your choices and how to reach us
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to records we must keep. Email info@islebartend.com or call (239) 778-6622 and tell us your reference code if you have one. Depending on where you live and the size and activities of our business, some privacy laws may not apply to ISLE; we handle reasonable requests regardless of whether a particular statute requires it.
11. Children
This website is intended for adults planning events. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Guest counts and event details you provide are not intended to include personal information about minors.
12. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the version and effective date at the top of this page. Consent records already stored keep the version that was accepted at the time.
This page is a production draft prepared for review by ISLE Bartend’s legal counsel. Website language alone does not guarantee compliance with any particular law.
